MPS Women’s Union chapter presents gifts to Lao students and children of ethnic minorities
The Women’s Union of the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) organized a “Happy Mid-Autumn Festival” program to present gifts to 150 children of ethnic minorities and 100 Lao children studying in Hanoi, on September 16th, 2024.
Speaking at the program, Deputy Director of the Department of Party and Political Affairs and Head of the Public Security Women’s Committee Major General Ngo Hoai Thu underlined that, to share with their difficulties in the first days living away from home and help them have a happy Mid-Autumn Festival, the Women’s Union of MPS, the Women Union’s chapter of the 19-8 Hospital and other benefactors organized the “Happy Mid-Autumn Festival” program for all the children at the school.
During the program, the children were presented with moon cakes and school supplies. The program reflected the good feelings of members of the Women’s Union of MPS, the Women Union’s chapter of the 19-8 Hospital and benefactors for them.
The gifts have become more special as it is the first Mid-Autumn Festival the children live away from home and have witnessed the large damage caused by Typhoon No.3 to their school.
On this occasion, delegates also presented gifts to 5 children of fallen public security officers, encouraging them to achieve better results in their studies as well as overcome difficulties in their lives.
