National Conference to praise examples of the elderly in ensuring order and security to be held in December
The Ministry of Public Security and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Elderly Association jointly held a meeting, on the afternoon of November 24, in Hanoi, to comprehensively review the preparation for a national conference to praise good examples of elderly people in the movement of “All people protecting national security” in the 2016-2021 period, scheduled for December 2022.
At the meeting, the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security and the Vietnam Elderly Association agreed on the significance of the upcoming conference, saying that it aims to praise advanced examples of the elderly in the “All people protecting national security” movement in the 2016-2021 period and encourage the elderly to participate in ensuring political security, social order and safety, building the Party organization and administration in residential areas.
Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung thanked the Vietnam Elderly Association for their close collaboration with the Ministry of Public Security in preparing for the conference from the planning stage to the implementation stage.
Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung requested the Conference Organizing Committee to review all stages of the organization of the conference while the Department for the Movement “All People Protect National Security” should regularly coordinate with the Vietnam Elderly Association to effectively make the preparation from now until the opening day of the conference to ensure that the conference will take place as planned.
