Nghe An police receive title “Hero of the People's Armed Forces”
The Ministry of Public Security celebrated 76 years since the People's Public Security studied and followed Uncle Ho’s Six Teachings, on the morning of March 11, 2024, in Vinh City (Nghe An).
The meeting also witnessed the Nghe An provincial police receive the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces.
At the meeting, Director of the Nghe An Provincial Police Department Major General Bui Quang Thanh presented an opening speech reviewing the 76-year period of the People's Public Security Forces’ study and implementation of Uncle Ho’s Six Teachings and the 79-year history of formation and building of the Nghe An provincial police force.
He underlined that Uncle Ho’s Six Teachings are truly the guidelines and great spiritual motivation for the entire People's Public Security Forces in the cause of national liberation, development and defense of the Fatherland.
Over the past years, the Nghe An provincial police force has awarded by the Party and State two Ho Chi Minh Medals, two Independence Medals (First class, Second class), 118 Feats of Arms Medals, three Labor Medals, 123 Fatherland Protection Medals while 22 local subunits and nine officers have been entitled “Hero of the People's Armed Forces.”
In particular, on February 7, 2024, the Nghe An provincial police force was honored with the title of “Hero of the People's Armed Forces.”
Congratulating the local police on the latest honor, General To Lam stated that it was a recognition of the outstanding achievements and victories of generations of local police officers over the past 79 years.
To continue the study and implementation of Uncle Ho’s Six Teachings, Minister To Lam said, the entire Nghe An provincial police force should build as a clean, strong, regular, elite, modern force, worthy of being as a heroic unit in the heroic Soviet homeland.
