PM Pham Minh Chinh sends a letter of commendation to traffic police force
PSNews - Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh sent a letter of commendation to the traffic police force for their oustanding achievements in ensuring traffic safety and order, preventing crime, and supporting people during the recent five-day April 30 and May 1 holiday.

Implementing the Prime Minister’s direction on ensuring traffic safety and order to facilitate people’s travel during the April 30 and May 1 holiday, the traffic police force had mobilized 100% of its strength in collaboration with other police forces and relevant forces, to work around the clock on traffic routes, despite the huge number of vehicles and intense hot weather nationwide.
Thanks to great effort of the force, the number of traffic accidents decreased (down by 9,16% of accidents, 32,35% of deaths and 1,38% of injuries) compared to 2023.
No fatal traffic accidents and no serious traffic jams had been recorded in a number of provinces during the holidays.
During the time, traffic police officers also arrested several criminals and strictly handled violations on traffic routes and specially provided supports for people on their way home for the holidays.
Their effective control of the traffic and support for people was recognized and highly appreciated by the people.
Along with their high sense of responsibility and endless effort to offer the best service to the people, the traffic police had also innovated their working methods and applied scientific and technological advances to their work.
On behalf of the Government, the Prime Minister praised the traffic police force for their good work results and achievements in maintaining traffic safety and order in the April 30 and May 1 holiday.
The Prime Minister also asked the traffic police force to make more effort to successfully fulfill the assigned tasks while providing supports for the people participating in traffic, contributing to beautifying the image of the traffic police and promoting socio-economic development.
