Police Department for Administrative Management of Social Order receives title of “Hero of the People's Armed Forces”
The Police Department for Administrative Management of Social Order under the Ministry of Public Security held a meeting, on the afternoon of August 12 in Hanoi, to celebrate the 77th founding anniversary of the People's Public Security Forces (August 19). 1945 - August 19, 2022) and officially receive the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces.

Deputy Minister of Public Security Lieutenant General Nguyen Duy Ngoc attended and delivered a keynote speech at the meeting.
Present at the meeting were high-ranking police officers who are working or used to work in the police force in charge of administrative management of social order.
During its 76-year history, the police force responsible for the administrative management of social affairs overcame all difficulties and hardships and successfully completed all the tasks assigned by the Party and the people in any circumstances.
For its great achievements and contributions, the Party, State and the Ministry of Public Security have conferred noble awards on the police force. In particular, on July 15, 2022, the State President signed Decision No. 813/QD-CTN to present the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces to the Police Department for Administrative Management of Social Order.
At the event, under the authority of the State President, Deputy Minister Nguyen Duy Ngoc presented the Second-class “Fatherland Protection” Medal to the Office of Management of Weapons, Explosives, Support Tools and Firecrackers under the Police Department for Administrative Management of Social Order.
Deputy Minister Nguyen Duy Ngoc also awarded the First Class “Fatherland Protection” Medal to Director of the Police Department for Administrative Management of Social Order Lieutenant General To Van Hue, Deputy Director of the Police Department for Administrative Management of Social Order Senior Colonel To Anh Dung, and Deputy Director of the Police Department for Administrative Management of Social Order Senior Colonel Vu Van Tan.
Speaking at the meeting, on behalf of the Public Security Central Party Committee and leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, Deputy Minister Nguyen Duy Ngoc appreciated and praised the contributions of generations of the police force in charge of administrative management of social order over the past years.
The Deputy Minister emphasized that, along with the development of the People's Public Security Forces, the police force for administrative management of social order has thrived in terms of organization and force as well as quality and functions.
Deputy Minister Nguyen Duy Ngoc noted that the Police Department for Administrative Management of Social Order has successfully implemented two National Population Database Project and the Project on Production, Issuance and Management of Citizens’ Chip-based Identification Cards in line with the amended Law on Residence, contributing to changing the management from manual method to electronic one and facilitating the building of a digital government, digital economy and digital society.
Up to now, the national population database and the e-ID management system have operated stably and smoothly while the police force has granted nearly 68 million e-ID cards to citizens.
The Police Department for Administrative Management of Social Order also advised leaders of the Ministry of Public Security to submit a project on enhancing the application of population data, electronic identification and electronic authentication in national digital transformation in the 2022 – 2025 period with a vision toward 2030 to the Prime Minister
The project, known as Project 06, aims at providing 5 groups of online public services, serving socio-economic development and building of digital society.
