The Police Department for Administrative Management of Social Order under the Ministry of Public Security held an online meeting to review results of the sector’s administrative management of social order in April, on the afternoon of April 25th, 2023, in Hanoi.

Standing Deputy Chief of the Government's Project 06 Working Group and Deputy Minister of Public Security Lieutenant General Nguyen Duy Ngoc attended the conference and delivered a keynote speech.

According to a summary report by the Police Department of Administrative Management of Social Order, the Government’s Project 06 is effectively implemented nationwide in April. Since January 1st, 2023, the police have received 1,093,751 applications for public services, of which 983.715 applications have been completed, representing 89.95%. The police also got 1.068 residence declarations in the month.

In April, the Police Department for Administrative Management of Social Order also cooperated with the State Bank of Vietnam to verify 25 million out of 51 million borrowers on credit through the National Population Database (up by 7 million debtors compared to March). 

Of the figure, the data of 21.3 million borrowers or 83.28% was verified.

At the conference, Deputy Minister Nguyen Duy Ngoc asked delegates from public security agencies and units to give good approaches to effectively implement Project 06 tasks, contributing to ensuring national security and social order as well as creating favorable conditions for the operation of businesses and people’s lives.

At the conference, delegates discussed various measures to effectively implement the Government’s Project 06, including tracing resident absence from their permanent residence addresses, issuing detailed plans to complete chip-based ID card issuance for people, promoting the provision of public services to the people as well as building a model unit in implementing Project 06.
