Police forces need to play core role in building “All people protecting national security” movement
Deputy Minister of Public Security Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung worked with leaders of the Department for the “All People Protecting National Security” Movement and relevant units under the Ministry, on September 23.
At the meeting, representatives from the Department for “All People Protecting National Security” Movement and relevant units reported to the Deputy Minister on the results of organizing the “All people protecting national security" festival in 2022 and one year of implementing the pilot project of a ward police post model of security, order and urban civilization.
Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung said that in 2022, the police force nationwide has actively coordinated with agencies and mass organizations to advise the Party Committees, authorities at al levels to direct the work of controlling crimes and social evils and promoting the movement of “All people protecting national security” and organizing the "All people's protecting national security" festival in a practical, safe and economic manner.
The Deputy Minister requested that police units at all levels should play the core role in promoting the movement of “All people protecting national security” and organizing the “All people protecting national security” festival.
He also asked the police force in charge of the movement-building force in the People's Public Security should continuously renovate methods and contents of the movement to draw the participation of people from all walks of life and make it more and more effective.
Regarding the pilot project to build the ward police post model of security, order and urban civilization, the Deputy Minister requested the Department for the “All People Protecting National Security” Movement to advise the Public Security Central Party Committee on a roadmap to build all ward police posts of security, order and urban civilization by 2030.
