Police in Ha Tinh praised for effectively implementing Project 06
The Provincial Police Department of Ha Tinh held a conference to review the local police’s task performance in 2022 and roll out their work plan for 2023.
Deputy Minister of Public Security Senior Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang attended and delivered a keynote speech at the event.
Report at the event highlighted the provincial police force’s good results in implementing 8 campaigns to control crimes.
As a result, the clearance rate of the criminal cases in the province reached 95% while 30 criminal gangs with 356 suspects arrested and some 10 billion Dong seized were destroyed.
They also cracked down on various drug-related, environmental, economic and corruption cases, arresting hundreds of criminals, the report stated.
The local police also strengthened its state management of security and order and achieved positive outcomes in realizing Project 06 launched by the Government.
The Ha Tinh Provincial Police Department was among the police units nationwide that had issued the highest rate of chip-based ID cards and electronic identification accounts as well as performed the most online public services.
Speaking at the event, on behalf of the Public Security Central Party Committee and leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, Deputy Minister Luong Tam Quang recognized the work results achieved by the provincial police force in 2022.
Regarding its key tasks in 2023, Deputy Minister Luong Tam Quang emphasized that the provincial police department should be well aware of the task of building a truly clean, regular, elite and modern police force, and pay more attention to ensuring sufficient supplies to the communal-level police units.
In 2022, 2 units and 2 officers under the Provincial Police Department of Ha Tinh were honored with the Certificates of Merit by the Prime Minister while the department received the “Emulation” Flag by the Ministry of Public Security.
Various individuals and teams of the provincial police were also honored by the Ministry of Public Security, the Ha Tinh Provincial People’s Committee.
