The Tan Loan Primary School, located in a remote area of Ham Yen district, has over 90% of the students are of the Mong, Tay and Dao ethnic minorities.

Currently, the school’s students  face many difficulties in learning English, so most of them are not good at communication English skills.

By launching the “Public security teachers” model, local police officers hope that they will bring not only knowledge but also passion for learning foreign languages to local students, helping them improve their English proficiency, especially  communication skills, while promoting activities within the framework of the youth development program of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Police Department.

According to the model, Youth Union members from the Tuyen Quang Provincial Police Department will teach students at the Tan Loan Primary School English during extracurricular classes and on Saturdays or Sundays.

The model is of great significance as it is a practical and effective activity, in which members of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Police Youth Union chapter support students in remote areas to improve their English proficiency, as well as inspire local students to learn foreign languages.

Additionally, the program brings the police force closer to the people, deeply demonstrating the motto “When people are in need, the police appear”.
