The Ha Giang Provincial Police Department in coordination with the People's Committee of Che La Commune on November 15 handed over newly-built classrooms to Che La Primary School’s branch (Che La commune, Xin Man district, Ha Giang province).
Che La Primary School’s branch, where 48 pupils are currently studying, is located more than 6 km away from the center of Che La Commune. Due to difficult traffic conditions, the school’s teachers and students had a lack of teaching and learning facilities.
The Che La school construction project started in September 2021. It includes two classrooms and one dorm room for teachers covering over 110 m2. The project cost VND 350 million, funded by the Economic Police Department under the Ministry of Public Security, the Ha Giang Provincial Police Department, and the Vietnam Oil and Gas Insurance Corporation.
The construction of the new classrooms has contributed to creating a better learning environment for students in Che La commune as well as displayed the social responsibility of the police and enterprises to ethnic minority people in mountainous areas.
