Police units sign coordination deal to protect Diplomatic Residential Area
The Security Guard Police High Command, the Hanoi Municipal Police Department, the Police Station of Bac Tu Liem district and the People’s Committee of Xuan Tao ward on December 5 signed a coordination agreement on ensuring security and order for the Diplomatic Residential Area.
The signing ceremony saw the presence of Major General Tran Hai Quan, Commander of the Security Guard Police High Command, Major General Nguyen Anh Tuan, Vice Director of the Hanoi Municipal Police Department, Senior Colonel Le Duc Hung, Head of the Police Station of Bac Tu Liem.
The Diplomatic Residential Area is located in Xuan Tao ward, Bac Tu Liem district, where various leaders and officials of the Party, State and ministries reside.
The police of Bac Tu Liem district have coordinated with the Regiment 600 under the Security Guard Police High Command, the Mobile Police of Hanoi and the People’s Committee of Xuan Tao ward to develop a coordination regulation on ensuring security for key targets in Xuan Tao ward.
Major General Tran Hai Quan asked all relevant units to strengthen exchange of information on security situations at the Diplomatic Residential Area and the peripheral areas as well as to share methods and tricks used criminals, to ensure security and absolute safety for residences of the leaders of the Party and State, ministries and branches.
For his part, Major General Nguyen Anh Tuan urged the Police Station of Bac Tu Liem to advise leaders of the Municipal Police Department and Bac Tu Liem authorities to mobilize sufficient forces and means to ensure security and order in the area.
