Public Security Forces be sharp sword, solid shield and crystal-clear mind: Prime Minister
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh delivered a keynote speech at the 78th National Public Security Conference on December 19.
Regarding the contribution of the Public Security Forces, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh affirmed that the People's Public Security Forces had contributed largely to the success and development of the country in 2022, particularly in controlling the Covid-19 pandemic control, recovering the economy, promoting socio-economic development, maintaining national independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity, consolidating national defense and security, and strengthening external relations.
The Prime Minister stated that the People's Public Security Forces had actively grasped the security situation and well performed their function of advising the Party and State on security and order, socio-economic development and external affairs.
Recognizing and praising the great effort and achievements of the forces in 2022, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh sated, the People's Public Security Forces always uphold a high sense responsibility for work: being ready to be anywhere the people need and to do any tasks assigned by the Party, and successfully fulfil all assignments in any situation.
Regarding the orientations of tasks of the Public Security Forces for 2023 and the coming years, the Prime Minister proposed the People's Public Security Forces to set a bright example and take the lead in implementing the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress. Acting as the core and closely coordinating with Party committees and authorities at all levels, promoting the synergy of the whole political system and the entire people to protect national security and ensure social security.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh noted that the Central Public Security Party Committee and the Public Security Party Committee at all levels should continue to be exemplary Party committees, focuse on Party building, continuously improve their political will, moral qualities, working style and lifestyle, always be a public security officer with an enthusiastic heart, a cool head, firm feet and clean hands, uphold honor because "honor is the most sacred and noble thing", so that the Public Security Forces will always be "the sharp sword, the solid shield, and the crystal-clear mind", preserving the trust of the Party, State and people.
