Quang Ninh police build gratitude house for family of fallen police officers
The Quang Ninh Provincial Police Department on October 4 handed funding to Do Thi Kieng, the immediate next of kin of a fallen police officer, to build a house of gratitude.
Earlier, the Quang Ninh Provincial Police Department of had asked the Ministry of Public Security for approval of 150 million Dong of support for Kieng, a poor farmer living in Dong Trieu town, Quang Ninh, to build a new house.
She was living in a shanty 4-level. Kieng is the immediate next of kin of police martyr Vuong Dinh Tuc, who died during the resistance war decades ago.
Kieng’s family is among the 5 poor local households in Quang Ninh that are immediate next of kin of fallen police officers to receive support from the Ministry of Public Security
The construction of the house, which is funded by the Ministry of Public Security, is expected to finish by December.
