Quang Tri police exchange work experience with Lao police
PSNews - The Quang Tri Provincial Police Department organized a training course to exchange professional experience between the Quang Tri Provincial Police Department and the three Lao Police Departments of Savannakhet province, Salavan province and Champasak province, on July 31st, in Cua Viet Town, Quang Tri.
In the 3-day training course, senior police officers from the Quang Tri Provincial Police Department provide nearly 100 participating Lao police officers with their hands-on experience in preventing and combating organized crimes and drug-related crimes, dismissing illegal gatherings causing disorder, riot and terrorism, as well as in criminal investigation, residence and identification management.
The training course is within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Quang Tri Provincial Police Department and Lao Provincial Police Departments, aiming to build capacity of Lao police officers, so that they can firmly maintain security and social order in their localities as well as along the shared borderlines while tightening the special solidarity between the Quang Tri Provincial Police Department and bordering Lao provinces’ Police Departments.
