Rehearsal of fire fighting and rescue plans takes place in Vinh Phuc
In order to evaluate the quality and effectiveness of the model “A firefighting inter-family group in residential areas,” the Vinh Phuc Provincial Police Department in association with the Fire and Rescue Police Department organized a firefighting drill at the firefighting inter-family group in Ngo Quyen ward, Vinh Yen city, Vinh Phuc province, on the evening of March 24, 2023.
The event drew the participation of Deputy Minister of Public Security Major General Nguyen Van Long, Chairman of the Vinh Phuc Provincial People's Committee Le Duy Thanh, Director of the Fire and Rescue Police Department Major General Nguyen Tuan Anh, Director of the Vinh Phuc Provincial Police Department Senior Colonel Dinh Ngoc Khoa as well as local fire police officers and people.
Over the past time, the Vinh Phuc Provincial Police Department has actively coordinated with local authorities at all levels to survey, evaluate, build and replicate the models “A firefighting inter-family group” and “A public fire fighting point”.
So far, Vinh Phuc province has built 112 models "A firefighting inter-family group", 34 models "A public fire fighting point," contributing to raising the public awareness and responsibility for fire prevention and fighting and rescue. The practice of firefighting and rescue in Ngo Quyen ward, Vinh Yen city, Vinh Phuc province was successfully carried out.

Speaking at the firefighting drill, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Long praised the local authorities as well as participating people and forces for close and effective coordination at the firefighting drill.
Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Long requested local police units to continue building and replicating the model of fire prevention and fighting groups in residential areas, focusing on building the model “A firefighting inter-family group", to ensure that by June 30, 2023, 100% of residential houses producing or trading flammable and explosive goods and nearby households will join the models “A firefighting inter-family group" and build the model of "A public firefighting point" particularly those in densely populated alleys and alleys where fire engines cannot access so that firefighting forces are available on site and can fight fire right from the start.
The deputy minister assigned the Fire and Rescue Police Department to collect comments from units and localities participating in the drill to develop a document guiding the local-level police units on the organization of firefighting and rescue drills.
