In 2023, the Security Guard Command has recruited more than 400 enlistees from 25 provinces and cities, as assigned by the Ministry of Public Security, the largest number to recent years.

More than 400 rookies from 25 provinces and cities across the country are ready for training.

On February 17, 2023, in Hanoi, the Security Guard Command held a ceremony open the training course for those who do national service in the People's Public Security Forces. Member Party Central Committee and Deputy Minister of Public Security Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung attended the event chaired by Commander of the Security Guard Command Major General Tran Hai Quan.

The training course for recruits, which will last 3 months, will train new police enlistees in knowledge of politics, People's Public Security Forces discipline and regulations, laws, and martial arts, swimming, and professional skills.

Speaking at the ceremony, Major General Tran Hai Quan requested that the Training Center should properly manage, inspect and fully implement the content of the entire training program that had been approved by the Security Guard Command. 

He urged the Board of Directors and staff of the center uphold the sense of responsibility in doing their jobs, improving the quality of training while ensuring absolute safety of humans, weapons and equipment.

On behalf of the Central Public Security Party Committee and leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung praised the results and achievements of the Security Guard Command achieved in recruiting troops and training recruits in the past time.

In order to further improve the quality of the training of police enlistees, Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung suggested that the Security Guard Command should actively innovate training and teaching methods to improve the quality of training, meeting the requirements for tasks of ensuring security and order in the new situation..

The Deputy Minister at the same time requested the new enlistees to uphold the sense of responsibility, overcome all difficulties and challenges in training, strictly abide by all training regimes orders from their superiors and discipline of the People's Public Security Forces, and strive to successfully complete all objectives and requirements of the training course.
