"Strong will to fight fire" exhibition opens in Hanoi

On the occasion of the 61st founding anniversary of the Fire and Rescue Police Force (October 4, 1961) and 21 years of the People's Counter-fire Day (October 4, 2001), the Ministry of Public Security opened an exhibition with the theme "Strong will to fight fire" on the morning of October 4, in Hanoi.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Long stated that, over the past 61 years of building up force and under the direct, comprehensive leadership of the Public Security Central Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security, the Fire and Rescue Police Force has continuously developed in terms of both quantity and quality, and achieved outstanding work results, making important contributions to the cause of national construction and defense.

The deputy minister took the chance to thank Central agencies, ministries, branches, local authorities at all levels for their effective coordination and practical support for the Fire and Rescue Police Force over the past six decades.

The Deputy Minister emphasized that the exhibition aims to raise the public awareness and responsibility for fire prevention and fighting, calling on the entire community to join hands with the People's the Fire and Rescue Police Force to maintain the peaceful life.

The exhibition at the People's Public Security Museum, 01 Tran Binh Trong Street, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi, is open to the public from October 4 to 28.
