Thua Thien Hue police hand over newly-built working offices to Laos police

PSNews – The Thua Thien Hue Provincial Police Department recently handed over 3 Vietnam-funded office buildings to Lao communal police forces.

After over 2 months of construction, the working office buildings for Lao communal-level police officers were completed.

These working office buildings are located in Co Tai-A Deng village, Sa Muoi District, Salavan Province and Ka Lo and Se Sap villages, Ka Lum District, Sekong Province, Laos.

The Thua Thien Hue Provincial Police Department also presented hundreds of packs of gift and medical supplies to the people and armed forces living in Laos’s border areas.

The project to build office buildings for Lao police holds special meaning as it promotes the solidarity and friendship between Vietnam and Laos, and contributes to ensuring security in the shared borderlines.

At the hand-over ceremony, a representative of Salavan Province, Laos thanked the Provincial Police Department of Thua Thien Hue for the great support, stressing that the Thua Thien Hue police force overcame numerous difficulties to complete the projects as scheduled.

According to Senior Colonel Nguyen Thanh Tuan, Director of the Thua Thien Hue Provincial Police Department, after over 2 months of construction, the working office buildings for Lao communal-level police officers were completed. He hoped, Lao police forces with new offices will work more effectively.

Both sides affirmed, the Thua Thien Hue police force and the police forces of Salavan and Sekong provinces, Laos will continue strengthening their unity and cooperation in maintaining security and order along the Vietnam-Laos borderline.
