Vietnam, Belarus agree to strengthen cooperation on counter-transnational crime
Deputy Minister of Public Security Major General Nguyen Van Long had talk with Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus Gennady Kazakevich, who is leading a delegation of the Belarusian Ministry of Internal Affairs to visit Vietnam, on October 4, 2023, in Hanoi.
Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Long suggested that, after signing the Cooperation Plan on Countering Transnational for 2024-2025 between the two ministries, the two parties should actively implement its contents.
He added, the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam wishes to receive a delegation of children of officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus on vacation trips to Vietnam, and want to send a delegation of children of officers of the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam to visit Belarus in 2024.
Mr. Gennady Kazakevich affirmed that he will do his best to strongly promote the cooperation and relationship between the two ministries, considering this an important factor to promote cooperative relations between the two countries for development and benefits to the two peoples.
After the end of the talks, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Long and Mr. Gennady Kazakevich signed a Cooperation Plan on Counter-transnational Crime for 2024 - 2025 between the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus.
