Vietnam ensures stable and secure environment for foreign investors
PSNews - General To Lam, Minister of Public Security (MPS) had a meeting with the US-ASEAN Business Council (USABC) led by Mr. Ted Osius on March 9.
Addressing the meeting, Minister To Lam praised the USABC for its active work in Vietnam and goodwill to have meetings with state agencies of Vietnam, including the MPS.
The minister affirmed, the bilateral relations between Vietnam and the United States have been developing in terms of political relations, national defense and security, and economic cooperation, and highlighted the USABC’s contribution to the fruitful results.
Mr. Ted Osius, President & CEO of the USABC thanked Minister To Lam for his kind reception and reaffirmed positive developments in the bilateral ties between the Vietnam and United States (US), especially in economy, trade, investment, saying that many large US enterprises are currently doing in Vietnam.
The USABC will continue promoting its role as a bridge connecting the governments and business communities of the two countries, while actively proposing practical and effective initiatives to further promote economic-trade-investment relations between the two countries, he added.
During the meeting, representatives of companies as members of USABC discussed with the MPS of Vietnam about cooperation in the fields of digital economic, digital transformation, clean energy, cyber security, aerial security, and so on.
To conclude, Minister To Lam stressed that the consistent policy of the Vietnamese Government is to ensure a stable and secure environment for foreign investors, including US firms, to do long-term business in Vietnam.
