PSNews - Within the framework of an official visit to India at the invitation of National Security Adviser Ajit Kumar Doval, Minister of Public Security General To Lam and a high-ranking delegation of the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam paid a courtesy visit to Vice President of India Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar and met with Indian Secretary of State Nityanand Rai, on April 10, 2023.

Vice President Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar highly appreciated the visit to India by Minister To Lam and the high-ranking delegation of the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam, saying that the visit contributed to strengthening the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries.

On this occasion, Vice President Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar asked Minister To Lam to pass best regards to Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, State President Vo Van Thuong, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue.

Vice President Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar highly appreciates the visit to India by Minister To Lam and the high-ranking delegation of the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam.

Minister To Lam sincerely thanked the Indian Vice President for receiving the Vietnamese delegation, and informed Mr. Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar of the results of his talks with Indian National Security Advisor Ajit Kumar Doval on security cooperation and cooperation in crime prevention and control between the two countries.

Minister To Lam suggested that the two sides continue to strengthen comprehensive cooperation in the fields of defense, security, economy, digital transformation, green economy in the coming time, while creating favorable conditions for people-to-people exchanges between the two countries.

The guest also wished India would do well in its role as the Chairman of the world's leading group of developed and emerging economies (G20), and said, Vietnam wants India to play a bigger role in the international arena, especially in the United Nations.
