Xuyen Moc Prison’s staff and families join effort in re-educating inmates

The conference is an opportunity for Xuyen Moc prison, relevant agencies, social organizations, and inmates' families to discuss and propose solutions and methods to re-educate inmates to be useful citizens after completing their imprisonment sentences.

At the conference, representatives of inmates' families and former inmates of Xuyen Moc Prison extended their thanks to the leaders and officers of Xuyen Moc prison for their care and support.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Director of the Police Department of Management of Prison, Compulsory Re-education Center and Reformatory Major General Nguyen Viet Hung said that the annual event is a humane activity, contributing to augmenting the quality of inmate re-education.

Major General Hung hoped that the leaders and officers of the Xuyen Moc Prison would strive to continuously renovate methods of re-educating and rehabilitating inmates, while strengthening connections between inmates and their families.
