PSNews - Singapore-based Northstar Group has decided to invest 50 million USD in Topica Edtech Group, a leading Vietnamese technology education company with more than 1,700 employees.

This has ever been the largest investment in an online education company in Southeast Asia. The current investors of Topica Edtech Group include Openspace Ventures, Patamar Capital, CyberAgent Ventures, EduLab Group and IDG Ventures.
Topica Edtech Group offers online English classes, with more than 2,000 short courses with English language video tutorials, and a platform that allows 12 universities in South East Asia to offer curricula and grant certificates online.
In addition, Topica Edtech Group - established in 2008 - is also operating a number of development programs for businesses. Topica Edtech Group has 1,700 employees.
