Central Highlands calls for investment

On February 6th, the Central Highlands Steering Committee held a press conference in Hanoi, introducing the 4th Conference on Investment Promotion in the Central Highlands.

Accordingly, the conference will be held on March 11th in Buon Ma Thuot, Dak Lak.It will gather about 500 participants with the aims of attracting and mobilizing domestic and foreign economic investments for the Central Highlands, to accelerate regional sustainable development.
In addition, the conference will expand trade promotion activities by providing good conditions for localities, organizations and enterprises to promote their brands, introduce their potentials and exchange experiences in agricultural cooperation.
Speaking at the press conference, Senior Lieutenant General To Lam, Minister of Public Security, Head of the Central Highlands Steering Committee stressed that: “The Central Highlands has a number of export products on the world top list, such as coffee, fruit, Da Lat vegetables. Moreover, the Government created favorable policies to accelerate socio-economic development in the Central Highlands. Therefore the upcoming conference will help the Central Highlands to attract more investors in the 2016-2020 period”.
