PSNews – Hai Phong City on May 5 held a ceremony at the city’s Theatre Square to mark its 63rd anniversary of liberation and to launch the Hai Phong Red Flamboyant Flower Festival 2018
The ceremony saw the presence of Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and other leaders.

This is the 7th annual Hai Phong Red Flamboyant Flower Festival with the highlight of the art programme themed “Hai Phong Reaching out to Sea”. This is also the main theme of this year’s festival.
The art program saw the participation of many famous singers such as Ho Quynh Huong, Duc Tuan, My Linh and Ngoc Anh, performing songs about Hai Phong City, along with many sophisticated art performances.
The opening ceremony of the Hai Phong Red Flamboyant Flower Festival 2018 closed in brilliant fireworks, as the welcome of Hai Phong City to visitors.
In the framework of this year's festival, there are nearly 60 cultural, sport and entertainment activities organized from May 13 to 15.
