Kite festival fills the sky over Hoi An with magnificent colour

The skyscape over Hoi An in the central province of Quang Nam blossomed with colour today (June 8) as akite festival at the Tam Thanh Beach took to the air.

The sky show runs from 10am to 5pm June 8-10.
Ho Tan Cuong, deputy director of Quang Nam department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, said he's expecting about 50,000 people to attend this week’s event.
The festival includes kites choreographed to music, kite displays and a massive retail tent full of kites, spinners and other outdoor items.
