Miss World Vietnam contest to be first held during 2019

Miss World is one of the most reputable beauty pageants in the world. Vietnam has sent many representatives to the beauty contest over the years such as Mai Phuong, Nguyen Thi Huyen, Mai Phuong Thuy, Hoang My, Lan Khue, Dieu Ngoc, and Do My Linh. Miss Vietnam 2018 Tran Tieu Vy will compete at this year’s contest.

Pham Kim Dung, head of the organizing board of Miss World Vietnam, said the contest will shortly begin receiving candidates’ profiles, beginning from December 10, 2018.

The final round for the southern region is scheduled to be held during March while the final round for the northern region is set to take place during April. The final night will take place at Cocobay Entertainment and Tourism Complex in Danang during May.

Winners of the beauty contest will have plenty of time in order to prepare for other international beauty pageants which are often held during the months of October and November annually.

Miss World Vietnam will help to promote domestic beauty pageants with the hope that the profile of the Vietnamese beauties is raised at the international competitions, said Ms Dung.
