Over 20,000 people participate in the opening of Sam Son Beach Festival 2018

A stage performance at the opening ceremony

This is the first time Sam Son has organized a sea festival after it became a city. The organizers of the Festival, entitled “Aspirations of the young city”, wanted to convey a message about a young and vibrant city full of aspirations.

Le Hai Yen, the stage director of the opening ceremony said that she had thoroughly studied Sam Son before, so she wanted to depict a Sam Son full of youthfulness but still imbued with its history of thousands of years at the festival. These two elements of the festival would feature a special value of Sam Son. In fact, the opening ceremony conveyed her ideas.

The opening ceremony of the festival was divided into 2 main parts, namely “Legend of sea” and “Echo of Sam Son”, with art performances by famous singers, including Tung Duong and Nguyen Ngoc Anh.

It also featured a bikini show from the collection of designer Viet Hung.
