Thousands of visitors join “Ninh Kieu Flower Garlands and Colorful Lanterns Night”

This was the first time the festival had been held in Can Tho city, in order to promote the image, culture and people of Ninh Kieu and Can Tho as a whole, and at the same time, to create cultural and entertainment spaces for the community and visitors.

The opening ceremony attracting thousands of people featured various art performances, traditional songs about love of the homeland, culture, people and beauty of Can Tho city.

Visitors to the opening ceremony enjoyed the competition with the participation of nearly 40 sets of flower garlands and colorful lanterns themed “Ninh Kieu Flower Garlands and Colorful Lanterns – Convergence and Shine”. The 40 sets of flower garlands and colorful lanterns were released on the Khai Luong stream. In addition, there were about 200 smaller flowery lanterns released by delegates and visitors at the opening night.
