US Ambassador makes mooncakes celebrate to bilateral relations
PSNews - On the occasion of the Vietnam's Mid-Autumn Festival and the 25th anniversary of US - Vietnam diplomatic relations, US Ambassador to Vietnam Daniel J. Kritenbrink made his own special fusion mooncakes by combining traditional Vietnamese ingredients with quintessentially American ingredients.

On September 30, the U.S Embassy to Vietnam shared a video clip of Ambassador Daniel J. Kritenbrink making mooncakes. In the video clip, he shared, this is his third autumn in Hanoi and he always fells that autumn is the most charming time of the year.
He walked through the Hanoi old quarter streets to feel the bustle of mid-autumn here as well as the way Hanoians enjoy the festival. Then, he met a great craftman and asked him to make a beautiful mooncake mold by using traditional method.
This year, as a tribute to Vietnam’s Mid-Autumn Festival and the 25th Anniversary of US - Vietnam diplomatic relations, he decided to try making his own special mooncakes by combining traditional Vietnamese ingredients with quintessentially American ingredients, like cream cheese and blueberries.
"I had a great time making them and learning more about the time-honored traditions of the Mid-Autumn Festival. Wishing you all a wonderful celebration with your family and friends during this very special year! We are trusted partners, prospering together", he emphasized.
