“K-Pop I Love 2022” singing contest kicks off
PSNews - On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of Vietnam – the Republic of Korea (RoK) diplomatic ties, the Korea Creative Content Agency Vietnam Office (KOCCA Vietnam) kicked off a singing contest named "K-Pop I Love 2022" from July 25 - October 1 in Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi.
According to the organizing board, K-Pop lovers nationwide will have the chance to show their talents within three qualifying rounds which are set to get underway in Da Nang on August 27, Ho Chi Minh City on September 17, and Hanoi on September 24.
However, before participating in the qualifying rounds contestants of all ages have to submitt their entries to the organising board through sound recordings or video clips, via e-mail to kpopilive2022@gmail.com.
A grand final is slated to be held in Hanoi on October 1, during which audiences will have the opportunity to hold exchanges alongside famous Vietnamese singers.
There will be five prizes including 1 first prize worth 20,000,000 VND, 1 second prize worth 10,000,000 VND, 2 third prizes worth 5,000,000 VND each and 2 promising prizes worth 3,000,000 VND each.
In particular, individuals and groups winning prizes will perform alongside K-Pop idols at a cultural event organised by the Korea Creative Content Agency Vietnam Office (KOCCA Vietnam) in 2022.
Hong Jeong Yong, Head of KOCCA Vietnam stated that: "The singing contest represents a meaningful and interesting playground for local K-Pop fans. KOCCA Vietnam hopes to bring you a beautiful and colorful life in the context that the relationship between Vietnam and Korea is getting better every day".
