Talented French-Vietnamese musician to perform in Vietnam
Talented French-Vietnamese musician and singer Dorothée Hannequin is set to put on a musical performance in Vietnam this June, according to details given by the French cultural centre L’Espace.
The event is set to take place as part of activities celebrating the 50th anniversary since the establishment of diplomatic relations between both nations back in 1973.
Specifically, singer Dorothée Hannequin, nicknamed The Rodeo, is scheduled to perform on June 16 at the Institute of Cultural Exchange with France (IDECAF) in Ho Chi Minh City, before putting on a show on June 18 at Hoa Binh Theater in Da Lat city, performing again on June 22 at Trung Vuong Theater in Da Nang city, and ending her tour on June 23 at the Hue Academy of Music in Hue.
Most notably, her night performance night at Polygon Musik - Complex 01 in the capital will see the participation of Vietnamese music groups, including Mac and The Odd Stones.
With regard to the Vietnam tour, she described Asia as a special place in her heart, adding that she is keen to immerse herself in local life whilst seeking inspiration in music. During concerts in the country, The Rodeo will introduce her new album named "Arlequine".
