2,319 contestants won prizes in national competition for excellent students
The Ministry of Education and Training has just announced the results of the national exam to select excellent students at the high school level for the school year 2021-2022.
Accordingly, about 2,319 contestants won prizes in this year's national competition for excellent students out of a total of 4,671 candidates, accounting for 49.6%, equivalent to the previous school year.
The candidates competed in 12 subjects including mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, informatics, literature, history, geography, English, Russian, French and Chinese.
The exam questions were created by the Ministry of Education and Training and sent to the examination boards of the provincial education and training departments.
In addition to the written test this year, contestants had to take the speaking test in foreign language subjects as well as practical exams for three subjects including physics, chemistry, and biology.
