Da Lat Flower Festival slated for late December.

The People’s Committee of the Central Highland province of Lam Dong recently held a press conference in Hanoi to announce the dates for the upcoming Da Lat Flower Festival which will take place between December 20 -24.

The festival, which is being held biennially, will see an art space set up around Xuan Huong lake on Le Dai Hanh street, close to the gate to the Da Lat market, which will be adorned with miniature flowers.

The five-day event will cover a wide range of activities, including a flower and ornamental tree exhibition, a national trade fair, a cultural exchange with citizens from the Republic of Korea, and a fashion show to promote Bao Loc silk.

The festival aims at promoting the province’s flower industry in addition to the Da Lat-Lam Dong tourism brand.

The seventh biennial Da Lat Flower Festival in 2017 attracted hundreds of thousands of local and international visitors.
