Man arrested for illegally sending workers to China

PSNews – The Bo Trach District Police in the central province of Quang Binh on February 13 reported that it has stamp out a criminal ring and arrested a suspect for investigation.

The man is Nguyen Van Toan, 28, resident of Hoan Trach commune, Bo Trach district.
According to the Bo Trach District Police, at around 22h, February 11, Toan drove his car (Number plate: 73B-00498), carrying 36 Vietnamese people, from Quang Binh towards Hanoi, in an attempt to take them to China to work illegally.

When the car reached Thanh Khe village, the local police force stopped it, detected the case and arrested Nguyen Van Toan.
Toan, at the investigation agency, pleaded guilty, saying that he would be paid 6 million VND for each Vietnamese person to be transported across the border illegally.
The police force is now expanding the case to find out involved people.
