CAND Newspaper presents tablets to children of ethnic minority police officers in Soc Trang

The Public Security (CAND) Newspaper on January 11 coordinated with the provincial Police Department of Soc Trang to present 30 tablets to children of local police officers.

Senior Colonel Lam Thanh Sol, Director of the Soc Trang provincial Police Department, Captain Nguyen Van Duc, and Head of the CAND Newspaper’s representative office in the Mekong Delta region led a mission to go to localities of the province and hand the tablets to children of local police officers of ethnic minority groups.

The charity program was held to support children of police officers of ethnic minority groups who work at various police units in Soc Trang.

This was also part of the program “Internet connection and computers for students”, initiated by the Prime Minister, to support poor students, especially ethnic minority ones.

Senior Colonel Lam Thanh Sol thanked the CAND Newspaper for their valuable support and generous donation.

Earlier on January 10, the CAND Newspaper coordinated with the provincial Police Department of Tra Vinh to present 30 tablets to children of Khmer police officers.
