The women’s union of Duong Noi ward in Ha Dong district have prepared hundreds of free meals each day to assist frontline workers in the ongoing struggle against the COVID-19 pandemic over the past month.
The free meals are made by members of the women’s union in Duong Noi ward of Ha Dong district.
Each of the free meals are delivered each day to healthcare workers who perform COVID-19 tests and vaccinations within the locality.
Local women provide both lunch and dinner to frontline workers, with a total of 360 sets of meals being given out per day.
Teachers of Duong Noi kindergarten also join in the charity activity.
Local women arrive at Duong Noi kindergarten early in the morning to prepare two meals daily.
The purpose of the meals is to ensure frontline workers get enough nutrients, thereby bringing them good health during the COVID-19 fight.
Local women also receive financial support from many benefactors.
The chefs also work as shippers to deliver the meals.
