Politburo member and Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh on September 2 visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Ngay in Can Giuoc district, Long An province.
During the visit, Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh conveyed his wishes to the Vietnamese Heroic Mother, saying that the Party, State and people are always grateful to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and other national contributors for their contributions to the national liberation and unification.
Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh asked the local authorities to take good care of policy beneficiaries and national contributors in their locality.
Vietnamese Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Ngay, born in 1930 and is now residing in Truong Binh commune, Can Giuoc district, Long An province. She lost her two sons during the war against US invaders.
Mother Nguyen Thi Ngay was conferred the title “Vietnamese Heroic Mother” by the State President in 2014.
