Department of Planning and Finance receives noble order

General To Lam, Politburo Member and Minister of Public Security, attended the ceremony.

The event also saw the presence of leaders of the Ministry of Public Security and relevant ministry and agencies.

Lieutenant General Trinh Ngoc Bao Duy, Director of the Department of Planning and Finance chaired the meeting.

At the event, delegates recalled the proud 75-year history of the finance sector of the Public Security Forces.

The Finance and Planning Department under the Public Security Ministry has been honored by the Party, the State and the ministry with various noble medals. Particularly, on its 75th founding day, the department was honored with the First-class National Protection Order by the State President.

Speaking at the event, Minister To Lam appreciated the efforts and achievements of the finance and planning sector in general and the department leadership in particular over the past 75 years. He also thanked relevant ministries and agencies for their effective cooperation and support.

Minister To Lam also asked leaders of the department to continuously improve the working ethics, capacity and professional expertise for is officers and soldiers.

The department should grasp thoroughly socio-economic, security and order situations, and actively give advice to the ministry leadership on management and allocation of budget.

Leaders of the department should enhance inspection, and efficiency of state management of finance, budget and investment and spending.
