Senior Lieutenant General Bui Van Nam, Deputy Minister of Public Security, on January 22 led a delegation of the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) to inspect the task performance of the Hoa Binh Provincial Police Department in 2019 and its working plan for ensuring security and social order during the Lunar New Year Festival (Tet) 2020.
According to the reports at the meeting between the delegation and local police, in 2019, the Hoa Binh police well performed the work of ensuring security and social order. As a result, the number of cases of violating social order went down by 8.48%) while the rate of successfully investigated cases reached 88.7 %, while 96.9% of the serious cases was successfully soved. During the intensive campaign against crime from December 31, 2919 to January 14, 2020, the Hoa Binh police gained remarkable results.
On behalf of the Ministry of Public Security, Deputy Minister Bui Van Nam acknowledged and praised the Hoa Binh police force for their outstanding achievements over the past time.
The deputy minister emphasized that the Hoa Binh police should synchronously implement professional and social prevention measures and actively crack down on criminal gangs related to "black credit", drug dealing, high-tech crime and other serious crime in the coming time.
