At the working session in Van Ho district, Secretary of the District Party Committee Nguyen Huy Hoang briefed the delegation on the current economic and social situation. Senior Colonel Pham Van Truc briefed on the police task performance in 2016. The report said, the Van Ho District Police closely followed the guidance of the provincial Party organizations and the Provincial Public Security Department, and realized the set plans, in spite of difficulties, ensuring security and social order, political and cultural security in the province.

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister Bui Van Nam recognized and praised the achievements in all aspects attained by the District Party Committee and the Van Ho District Police in recent time.
He stressed, after 3 years of its separation from Moc Chau district, the district still faces various difficulties in economic and social infrastructure. But the local authorities and police with their efforts continuously maintain local security and order, contributing to local socio-economic development and external affairs.

In coming time, the Deputy Minister of Public Security asked the District Party Committee a strategy for development of hi-tech based agriculture with focused investment and concrete plans, and tourism.
He also urged the district to coordinate with other relevant forces to fight against crime, especially drug trafficking crime, to step up Party building, and to strive for clean, strong public security forces.
The same day, the delegation also had a working session with the Cao Phong District Party Committee in Hoa Binh province and visited the Cao Phong orange production area in the town of Cao Phong.
