Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh works with Nghe An Provincial Police
Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh, Member of Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of Pubic Security, on November 18 led a delegation of the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) to work with the Nghe An Provincial Police Department.

The MPS delegation was welcomed by Mr. Nguyen Xuan Son, Vice Secretary of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council; and Mr. Le Hong Ving, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee.
Major General Nguyen Huu Can, Director of the Nghe An Provincial Police Department briefed the delegates on the local public order and security situation and results of the provincial police’s task performance in the past 10 months.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Son highlighted that the Provincial Police Department of Nghe An has made great contributions to the socio-economic development of the province. He hoped that the MPS would further support the Nghe An Provincial Police Department in building as a Hero Unit of the People's Armed Forces.
Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh also praised the provincial police for their efforts and achievements in implementing their assigned tasks.

Earlier, Deputy Minister Thanh and his entourage visited and worked with officers at the Communal Police Post of Ngoc Lam, Thanh Chuong district, and joined the local people in their Great National Unity Festival.
