Ha Nam police pilot "Zalo connection - For a peaceful life" model

PSNews – The Ha Nam Provincial Police Department recently held a ceremony to pilot-run the "Zalo Connection - For a peaceful life"  model at the Tran Hung Dao Ward Police Post, Phu Ly city.

The model, which promotes the connection between the local police and people via the social network of Zalo, is expected to meet needs of the local people for reporting crimes, other offenses and their complaints to the police, contributing to ensuring order and security at the grassroots level.

At the launching ceremony, officers from the Staff Office under the Ha Nam Provincial Police Department introduced delegates to two groups on the Zalo social network, namely Resident Group and Household Business Group. They also instructed how to make Zalo accounts and communicate with the police via the two Zalo-based groups.

This model is also expected to support the local police to investigate crimes and maintain local order and security more effectively.

The Tran Hung Dao Ward Police Post will use this application to popularize the Party's guidelines, the State's policies and laws to local people as well as grasp the order and security situation. 

With the application, local people can easily report crimes to the police. Residents can also learn about administrative procedures as well as read news on the local order and security situation that is posted on the two Zalo-based groups everyday.

This model is also expected to support the local police to investigate crimes and maintain local order and security more effectively.

Earlier, the Dak Lak Provincial Police Department also piloted this model and achieved positive results. In particular, reports from local residents on Zalo helped the local police better prevent COVID-19.
