Logistic and technical sector active in supporting public security forces

PSNews-Lieutenant General Bui Van Thanh, Deputy Minister of Public Security inspected logistic and technical readiness for the public security forces of the General Department of Techniques and Logistics (G.D 3) during and after the Tet.

At the meeting, Lieutenant General Le Van Minh, General Director of GD 3 briefed participants on the situation of ensuring security and order during the 2017 Lunar New Year holiday. Accordingly, the sector thoroughly grasped directions by the Minister of Public Security at the New Year ministerial-level briefing.

The General Director noted that GD 3 had made great efforts to complete all assigned tasks, safely protecting all headquarters, warehouses, supplies and equipment. During the 7-day New Year festival, all healthcare facilities under the MPS on time treated 649 emergency patients, including 43 policemen while food safety and disease prevention at police stations and units were sufficiently underscored, avoiding epidemic disease and food poisoning.
