According to statistics, Vietnam now has over 80 BOT traffic projects in operation on highways. BOT traffic projects are a necessary and right policy contributing to socio-economic development of the country.
In recent months, drivers started to use small-value notes to pay for fares at several BOT traffic stations, causing serious congestions on highways triggering security and order issues there.
Against this backdrop, police units in the localities gave recommendations and advice to local authorities to promote dissemination of traffic policies and regulations to people, especially transport business owners.
