MPS reviews planning, finance, logistics and health sectors in H1

Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Minister of Public Security, chaired a meeting on June 23 to review task performances of the public security planning, finance, logistics and health sectors in the first half of 2021 (H1).

Overview of the event.

Over the past months, the public security planning, finance, logistics and health sectors have actively advised the Ministry of Public Security’s (MPS) leadership on implementation of projects and working plans as well as on drafted legal documents to complete the legal corridor for planning, finance, logistics, technical services, and healthcare in the Public Security Forces.

Particularly, the public security logistics and technical sector have provided sufficient logistics and technical services for the 13th National Party Congress and the election of the 15th National Assembly and the 2021-2026-tenure People's Councils at all levels as well as for the projects on the national population and chip-based ID cards. It also invested in building workplaces for communal police forces and hostels for policemen in border areas.

To conclude the event, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son recognized and praised the achievements of the public security planning, finance, logistics and health sectors in the first half of 2021. 

Regarding major tasks in the coming time, the Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son asked the sectors to actively study and follow the Resolutions of the 13th Party National Congress and the 7th Public Security Party Congress, action programs of the Government and the MPS on the process of modernization of the Public Security Forces by 2030.

He stressed that they should accelerate disbursement of public investments and settlement of the completed projects. They should provide more equipment for commune-level police units, especially for those stationed in extremely difficult communes and border localities, while enhancing inspection and strictly handle wrongdoings.
