Minister To Lam works with Dien Bien Provincial Police
PSNews - General To Lam, Minister of Public Security, on May 13 led a delegation to work with the Dien Bien Provincial Police Department.

According to reports at the meeting between the delegation of the Ministry of Public Security and provincial police, the local police force well maintained the public order and security situation in the residential areas of ethnic minority groups; investigated 163 drug-related cases, arrested 184 people involved, seized 8.13 kg of heroin, 15.7 kg of marijuana and 1.74 kg of synthetic drugs.
Speaking at the event, Minister To Lam asked the local police to promote the Party building and force building work, and speed up the deployment of professional police officers to communal police posts to ensure security and order at the grassroots level.
General To Lam also urged the provincial police to promote crime prevention and fight, take effective measures to successfully curb the number of criminal offences, drug-related crimes, and raise the rate of the settlement of crime denunciations and petitions.
