Minister To Lam works with Dong Nai leadership on ensuring local security and social order
General To Lam, Member of the Politburo and Minister of Public Security, leading a delegation of the Public Security Central Party Committee on July 15 worked with the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee on ensuring local security and social order and building the Public Security Forces in connection with socio-economic development in the province.

Reports at the meeting read that, in the first half of 2020, although the COVID-19 pandemic still sees complex developments, the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee led local forces to maintain political security, social order and safety in the province.
Under the leadership of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee, the provincial police took various effective measures to prevent and fight against law violations and crimes, including drug-related crimes.
Speaking at the meeting, Minister To Lam expressed delight at initial outcomes of the socio-economic recovery of Dong Nai province in the post-COVID-19 period. He also considered the close coordination between the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee and the Public Security Central Party Committee as an important factor in ensuring local security and social order in the past time.
Minister To Lam suggested the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee strictly follow Directive No. 12 issued on January 5, 2017 by the Politburo on strengthening the Party's leadership over economic security in developing the socialist-oriented market economy and promoting international economic integration.
The Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee should also direct the provincial police forces to further stamp out criminal gangs, drug-related crimes, gambling rings, prostitution, usury, and illegal debt collection as well as to ensure traffic order and safety, urban order, prevent fire and explosion prevention, and raise the quality and efficiency of the “All people protect the national security”movement.
