PSA’s students participate in 2017 National High School Examination Support Campaign
PSNews-The 2017 National High School Graduation Examination Support Campaign has been carried out by the Youth Union Chapter of the People’s Security Academy (PSA) seeing active participation of hundreds of students.
In particular, 35 different teams of about 730 PSA’s students participated in the campaign.
The team consists mainly of students who come from the same province or city. They support examinees and their families at 98 different schools in 12 provinces and cities in the northern region, which host the National High School Graduation Exam for 58,000 high school students.
Students of the PSA were supposed to cooperate with local police to ensure security and order at the hosting schools.
In addition, they were engaged in organizing and controlling the traffic to minimize congestions or accidents during the National High School Examination.
The volunteer teams of the PSA’s students also participated in other activities, including guiding students to complete forms and procedures, offering free rides to students; distributing free food and water to poor examinees and their relatives, seeking low-price accommodations for them, and encouraging examinees before each test.
Senior Lieutenant Duong Xuan Khiem, Secretary of the PSA Youth Union Chapter said that the campaign is annually held and participated in by PSA’s students, contributing to minimizing “tension” during the National High School Graduation Examination and providing examinees and their families with concrete and practical assistance.
“A year ago, I was in the same position, taking the National High School Graduation Examination. I received much effective support from voluntary university students. The support indeed helped me do the exams to the best of my ability. Now I’m one of voluntary student so I’m doing my best to help this year’s examinees,” said Nguyen Thi Thuong, a first-year student at the PSA.
