Party organization of People’s Security College 2 organizes first Party Congress

Recently, the Party organization of the People’s Security College 2 held its 1st Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term. Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh, Member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Minister of Public Security, attended the event.
According to the draft political report delivered at the Congress, in spite of many difficulties, the newly established Party organization led the school to effectively improve the quality of education and training as well as the capacity of its lecturers and educational staff.
It also attached great importance to expanding education and training cooperation with foreign partners while the Party building and force building gained important outcomes
Speaking at the Congress, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh requested the Party organization to pay due attention to promoting practical skills, information technology capacity, and foreign language proficiency of its lecturers and students.

It should also strengthen scientific research and training activities in association with the fight against crimes of all kinds of the Public Security Forces in the new situation.
At the Congress, delegates voted a 20-member Party Executive Committee for the 2020-2025 term and a delegation to attend the 7th Public Security Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term.
Earlier, the Party organization of the People’s Security College 1 held its 1st Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term on August 21.
According to the draft political report delivered at the Congress, the Party organization of the People’s Security College 1 were established based on the merger of two Party organizations of former People’s Security Colleges 1 and 2.
